HAWK CALLS Start with 3 free calls
A contractor on a job site at dusk, answering his phone

For contractors who answer their own phone

Your next job calls you first, and only you.

One exclusive buyer per trade per market. You pay only for qualified calls. Your first 3 are free.

Start with 3 free calls

No card. No contract. No sales call.

STOP. Read the next 2 minutes. Then decide.

The problem

You know the race.

A homeowner asks for a contractor. The lead goes to five of you at once. Your thumb hits the phone before you have even read the address. Someone faster wins. You still pay.

A homeowner calling a contractor from her kitchenOne homeowner. One call. Five contractors racing for it.
  • Same lead, five contractors. The moment it lands, the race starts.
  • First to call wins. The rest pay anyway.
  • Junk, wrong area, job seekers, missed calls. Billed all the same.
  • A retainer every month. A report every month. Jobs, not so much.

You are on a roof, or under a house, or mid job. The phone rings. You cannot drop everything, and by the time you call back, the homeowner has already booked someone else. That is not a lead. That is a lottery ticket you paid for.

Shared vs exclusive, drawn out

Same homeowner. Same call. Two completely different deals.

Shared lead

AContractor A
BContractor B
CContractor C
DContractor D
EContractor E

Five contractors race. One wins the job. All five pay for the lead.

Hawk Calls exclusive

1 lead goes to 1 contractor
YOUYou, and nobody else

The call is yours before you answer it. No race. No one else is calling her.

An illustration, not a result. Your numbers will differ. The point is the shape of it: most of what you pay for never becomes a job.

The solution

Now the call is yours alone.

Hawk Calls sends each call to one contractor only. You. If the call is real, in your area, and long enough to be a real job, you pay for it. If it is not, you pay nothing.

A ringing phone in a contractor's hand on a job siteIt rings. You answer. The job is already yours.

Proof, not promises

Here is the whole rulebook. Read it before you apply.

No testimonials. No borrowed stars. Just the rules, printed in full, so you can hold us to them.

A call counts only when it is all of these

Every one. No exceptions.

  • Genuine homeowner with a real need
  • In your area and in your trade
  • 60 seconds or more on the call
  • Not a repeat caller inside 24 hours
  • Transcript and dispute reviewed before it is billed

These never count, and never burn trial

If it is on this list, it is $0. Always.

  • Solicitors, sales pitches, wrong numbers
  • Job seekers
  • Dead air, robots, pranks
  • Missed calls and voicemail, sent to overflow
  • Any call that fails the list above

A homeowner who got a quote and decided not to hire you is not a bad lead. That call still counts. The rule protects you from junk, not from losing a quote.

Dispute window

48 HOURS

to dispute any call, with its recording as evidence. eLocal gives 4 days. Networx gives 14 days. Ours is shorter, because a bad call should not wait a week to be fixed.

The trial, as a picture

3TRIAL→ 2TRIAL→ 1TRIAL→ 0USED→ Then Billable

Three qualified calls, free. A credited trial call gives you one back, up to 3. Do not take our word for it. Take 3 free calls.

Who this is for

Who should apply. Who should not.

Apply, if this is you

  • You answer your own phone
  • You can take a job this week
  • You want jobs, not lead lists
  • You will dispute a bad call with its recording

Do not apply, if this is you

  • Nobody answers the phone
  • You are booked out for weeks
  • You want the cheapest lead on the market
  • You want to own the marketing long term

If you are in the second list, do not apply. The slot is better in the hands of someone who can take the call.

Pricing

What a booked job is worth to you decides the price.

We publish no rate card, because a roofing call in one market is not a drain call in another. Price is set by trade and market, and confirmed after you apply. Here is the maths that decides whether it is worth it.

Your average job value

The number you already know

×

Your close rate

The share of real calls you book

=

What one booked job is worth

The number the price is judged against

Worked example, not a promise

Assumes a 40% close rate. Your close rate and your job value decide the real number.

Say your average job is worth $1,000 to you, and you close 40% of real calls. Then 10 qualified calls book about 4 jobs, worth about $4,000. That is the maths to judge the price per qualified call against. If your job value is higher, the maths gets better. If your close rate is lower, it gets worse. Both numbers are yours, not ours.

The 40% close rate is an assumption, labelled here, not a result we are claiming. The $1,000 job value is an example, not your price. No price is quoted on this page. You pay per qualified call only, and only after your 3 free trial calls.

Questions

What you would ask if I were in the room.

What happens if I miss a call?

It goes to overflow. It is $0. It never burns trial. A missed call is our problem to route, not your problem to pay for.

What if the call is bad?

Dispute it within 48 hours, with its recording as evidence. Credit or Deny. A credited Billable call comes off your invoice. A credited trial call gives you one trial call back, up to 3.

What counts as a qualified call?

All five, together: a genuine homeowner with a real need, in your area and your trade, 60 seconds or more, not a repeat caller inside 24 hours, and transcript and dispute reviewed. Anything else is $0.

How fast do calls start?

Calls start once your territory check is done and your slot is live. We do not promise a day here, because the check comes first.

Is there a contract?

No. No long contract. Pause anytime from your portal, resume when you are ready.

What do you need from me?

Your trade, your ZIPs, a phone you answer, and a card only after your 3rd trial call. Nothing else.

Do I need a new phone number or an app?

No. Calls ring your existing business phone. No new system, no new app, nothing to install.

What happens after I apply?

We check your territory and trade, then email your portal setup. The form is not a contract, and no card is due at this stage.

What if my market is already taken?

You go on the waitlist, or we offer a neighbouring area, a service split, or a backup slot. One buyer per trade per market means exactly that.

Who else gets the call?

Nobody. One buyer per trade per market. The call goes to you and you alone.
